Default Are seibon mugen style hood functional?

Hey guys, i have a question.

Im looking to buy a seibon carbon fiber mugen style hood. I was wondering if the vents are cut out to vent the engine temp. My buddy's ep3 has a seibon carbon fiber mugen hood but the vents werent cut out. Any information is helpful. Pictures of the vents will be great.

Thanks.

I think a better question is. What is your set up? Are you just N/A? Turbo'd? Do you track the car? DD the car? etc. Are you interested in it merely for looks etc?

are you going to buy one brand new?

most possible issues you may have are:

1. fitment
2. clearcoat fading in the future
3. i think they are equal or heavier than stock hoods (mixed reviews)
