Searching for stolen Volk TE37 gunmetals from S2K
Man, people have absolutely no respect for other property, woke up on Tues. to find that all 4 of my 17" Volk TE37 gunmetal wheels and Potenzas were no longer there. Parked at my place in Foster City of all places. They left my '01 silverstone S2K sitting on its rear axle/rotors along with a jack and spare tire that were not my own. No break-in to my car and managed to take off my wheel locks as well.
If anyone sees someone with new wheels or selling some Volk TE37 gunmetals or bragging about their newly acquired wheels, please let me know any details or send me their license plate. Driving my car won't be the same without them, and doesn't sound like they're producing the 17" anymore. Will have to put on my original AP1 stock wheels for now, bogus. Will try to post pics later.

I am really sorry to hear about your car. Walking out to a car only to find it burglarized or vandalized are the worst. Its sad to say but I have had that happen to me as well.
I just checked and saw there are still a number of 17" TE-37 wheels available. Which sizes and offsets were you looking for? I can check into it and see if I can still get those specific sizes for you.

I had on a full set of gorilla wheel locks. Next time I buy a nice set of rims I'll probably go with Mcgards. Word to the wise, anyone that doesn't have a good set of wheel locks, should pick some up. Not sure if Mcgards are the best but probably better than gorilla.
I called the Foster City police and insurance the day it happened, they took prints but couldn't find anything concrete. Insurance was able to cover the original cost of my wheels thankfully.
Thanks for the offer weksos, but I'll stick with my oem wheels for a bit. No point in putting on more volks only to have them stolen again.

My friend puts on two different sets, brands of wheel locks on his wheels. Do the thieves have a copy of the keys or just drill them out? Sorry for your loss. Glad insurance covered it but I hate thieves.
