Next round in the 2002 SCCA SF region autocross series is coming
up in two weeks: Sunday, 2002 Feb 17 at Candlestick (3com) in SF.

Any other s2ki folks going ?
I'll be going, but will be running my
BMW 318ti in H-stock (black, car #78).
I'd like a ride in an s2000. I can offer to help carry your tires (I'm driving from
Fremont-Niles, and the ti has room for four 16 inch mounted tires ) or offer
other pit crew service (rotate your tires, Sir ?).
For people who haven't driven in SCCA events before:
SCCA autocross (aka Solo II) are efficiently run competitive (but fun) events.
You need to be an SCCA member to drive, and SCCA memberships are
not available on the event site. You can join this week by getting an
application form from http://www.sfrscca.org/NewMembers/
and faxing it in; you should get a membercard in the mail in time for Feb. 17.

I'm planning to attend. It will be my first auto-x. Unfortunately, I'll be forced to drive to 3-com with the track tires. Also, sent in my membership last week, so hopefully, I'll get my card in time. Your welcome to ride along. Butttt, since its my first event, I can't promise a smooth journey!

Anybody going to the NASA autocross school this saturday in Marina? I'll be there burning away what's left of my rear tires. 
I just got back from a BMW car control clinic. If you have never done a car clinic, I highly recommend it and they allow non-BMWs. BMW CCA membership is required.

I'll be at the SCCA event on sunday...hopefully running the 265 victos on the rear.
I'll be bringing my new gf so I won't be able to allow anyone else to ride with me, but my friend might be running my car as well, so maybe he'll allow a rider.
