My friend's Audi A8L was shipped from London to USA on a boat. They required him to leave the window's ajar, and the car was full of mold when he got it back. Also they broke the electronic parking brake button. I would definitely investigate their policy about instances of damages and what your insurance might cover in a situation like this.
