The show is located at the SJ convention center: www.sjautoshow.com

It is much smaller than the LA auto show. They won't have nearly as many concept cars and new upcoming models.

Only cars i see listed that will be interesting at the san Jose Show (a regional show0 is the racing Mini, and the a Ford concept that they dont plan to build. Still, since I'm a car buff, I'll probably go anyways.

Damn, really? I missed the SF auto show and was actually looking forward to checking this out. Maybe if I get utterly bored this weekend.

its sucks...even the mosconi one is very borderline, compared to the LA one or even the chicago ones. The San Jose one is about as sucky as the one in Anaheim.

i second that the SJ autoshow sucks. i was just at the SF one last november (2001) and not many new cars were there. ferrari was there in 2000, but they backed out in 2001. the new viper also backed out. they were showing the 2001 spa yellow S2000.....not many new cars we all want to see.....SJ is even worse.....smaller area, fewer cars. i was dissappointed that they didn't bring any of the new future models such as Nissan 350Z, Infiniti G35, Mazda RX-8, New Audi A4, etc......

in short, most of the cars in the show are also running in the streets are currently running on the streets....just look for them and save the few bucks.....

Damn I cannot believe I let my family whine me out of stopping at the LA show last Sunday. We had just gotten off a cruise ship in San Pedro and everyone was wailing about "what are WE gonna do while you go to the Auto Show?" Then my dad calls after we get home and goes on and on about how great the show was (he lives in LA) and he's 82 fer cryin' out loud and really does not CARE all that much about cars but his GIRLFRIEND wrecked her Lexus and wanted to see what was available as a replacement. I suggested a new M3 but I think she's gonna get another ES300.

I hate these little rinky-dinky dealer shows like San Jose, but I am probably gonna go anyway....damn!

In 2000, this show was the first place I saw and drooled over an S2000...

they also had some pathetic clay concept from hyundai... otherwise, it was pretty mellow.
