ok fellas, i agree with both of you guys.
rich and anthony.
car shows are supposed to be for heavily modded cars. or at least the certain requirements. its also to display someones sense of style and taste too. people display their cars because they set themselves apart from everyone in the so called "scene" now thats what people pay to see. most of them have requirements. shiet, i dont even think my car should be in a show. it never feels as if its enough. i honestly know my car isnt much. which is why sometimes i feel i shouldnt be showing. i do it for other reasons.
BUT...
i also see rich's side of his opinions. a crew, a group. which s2ki is a group. but its not technically a team. hence most show cars are in a team itself.
theres also street crews or teams.
i mean, club scion comes out. e46fanatics, sti and evos. but when they all display at a show. they have the hard hitters of the forums. at the meets they have all of them. i do see how norcal s2ki has a good group of people and support that always come out to the meets and drives. where that is what mainly counts. you dont really see this too much on other forums. or i should say alot of members. and that is what is good about our forums. and thats why i think its ok. its a group thing. keep in mind, when people walk by our cars, they arent going to see us like how we are at the meets. and thats where they might think differently. but we all know how we are at our meets.
i have a team. i could care less about what people say about my team. i could care less of what people say about my car alone. i build my car for myself. i show for my own reasons (and sponsors).
you guys shouldnt be getting all hissy fit at each other. we all have the same love for cars. thats all that matters.
