lol, exact same situation with me.

when i got my car at mike harvey in burlingame, i took it back to get the infamous rear bumper/fender misalignment looked at/fixed, and when i got it back, the only thing missing was my 2pac - all eyez on me cd

not my $200 sunglasses, $300 racquets, or any other cds I had in there....just 2pac, the most precious item

is serramonte honda really worse? the only experience i ever had was them was that they tried to charge me $180 to plug a scanner tool in and read the code for my power steering. i just asked them if they could just plug the scanner in and read me the code, but they said they could not, that they would have to hold it overnight in their garage (charge me for storage), and pay their mechanics to diagnose it. (all they had to do was plug in the tool and read the code because the EPS light is ON and in the book, it says to plug in the damn scanner and read the code) so i said thank you very much and left. still driving without power steering today..

You know... I am pretty sure all service places have that same policy, though. Take out everything you want to keep because they are not responsible for anything that may be lost or stolen... Of course, you really don't expect someone to steal a CD but ...
