i know u spent alot on mods and its hard to imagine that htey actually depreciate the value of the car, but ur asking price is a bit high in my opinion, i mean its a 2000...so 6.5 years old conservatively...and even with the low miles u have, still... depreciation is more than 30%...u gotta think about it this way...
the kind of person who wants an s2k tends to be someone who can afford to have it as a weekend car, someone with the money to say buy a new one, or a newer one than yours for less money... as for the 16 year olds that need to have an s2k and can only do so by buying one that is older, no way they can afford 19k...so they might go to a bank and try to finance as much as the bank will allow, the go based on wholesale, and i hate to be the beared of bad news but wholesale on a 00 is prob close to 9k...i could be wrong but ask around, anyways a bank will only give 80% of the wholesale and the kid has to come up with the rest...
its feels to me like u are asking for ur car a price that includes how much u love the car... anyone who would spend 20k on a used 2000 s2000 would, no offense, be a fool to do so, considering if he financed the rest of a NEW one, hed have a 200/month payment for 5 years, assuming average credit...maybe hire an appraiser and get a more realistic value for your car.???
either way good luck sellin.
