"for sale" policy

Maybe because the Bay Area forum is a very active forum, and there are enough posts to make it worth having a separate for sale section. That way people looking for parts don't have to dig through the random conversation, and people looking for random conversation don't have to sift through for sale posts.

You have to be a member to post 'for sale' items.
you have to be a member. if not, it would get clogged with a bunch of BS... also, there's less of a chance of fake posts if you have to be a member to sell your parts

You are a newbie so go read the rules....but yes to all of what was said above...
Most regional forums do not have as much activity as CA forums so both norcal and socal have a FOR SALE area to keep the normal areas less congested.
Plus BEFORE you sell anything you have to be a member or it will be removed!

i was takin a nap in my car while my friend was making a bank and coffee run
so my friend tells me there were a bunch of Japan Air Lines stewardesses walking around, i asked him if that was good or bad and he said there was a cute one, and that international flights have hotter stewardesses
and apparently he said there was someone in starbucks simultaneously on the crackberry and staring at his gmail screen on his laptop while just moving his mouse around
