Go to www.crutchfield.com to get an idea on how-to. They have plenty of audio install guides there.

It's pretty simple DIYing it yourself. Plus you get the satisfaction.

If I were you, I would do it myself. Car stereo installs are the easiest. Just buy the wire harness along with the stereo and do all the wiring first. then pull your old deck out and undo the harness and plug in new deck harness and your done.

Okay, apparently the majority thinks that a first time installer is a better bet than a Best Buy or Circuity City installer...I'm going to go ahead and install the head unit myself. Thanks.

how accurate are the instructions that come out of crutchfield. like others here, i've never done a stereo system myself. it is as easy as pulling side panel covers, loosening the bolts, slide old deck out, slide new deck in with new harness and that's it?
i've been trying to find a service manual for my MY07 (to see radio bolts also) but i can't find one. hate to buy from crutchfield and do it myself if the instructions suck.
also, how's modify vs. dci harness to continue using the audio controls on left side?
P.S. am pulling up old thread and researching.

but i just replaced my deck last week.
you need to unclip your console cover (it pops right off).
then you need to take out the radio door (again, pops right out)
now that the deck is exposed, there are 4 screws holding the deck in there and that's it.
i used modifry's dci and modifrys plug-n-play harness. no need for crimping/soldering. install took me less than 30 minutes (would have been less but i stripped some of the screws on the deck mount
