No experience with Z-Gravity. My brother loves them (he is also a bike nut) and has Z-Grav on all his road bikes.
I may get them later this year but I just went on a buy spree and dropped some serious dough on the Aeolus wheel set, Sidi Ergo shoes, Sony Bravia HDTV, and other things. Have to rein back my spending a little bit.

crazee, I ride road bike in the Peninsula. If you want to ride on a weekend, let me know.
I'm doing the Sea Otter Classic Century in April and the Climb to Kaiser (150miles/12000ft climb) in June. You should consider signing up.

i was reading the fairwheelbikes forum last night and the brake review states that DURA ACE is the reference for ultimate stopping power and ease of setup. the other brands are lighter and look better, just don't brake as well. i am gonna have to try someone's before swapping to those non oem ones.

After flying off my bike hard going downhill full speed, I can no longer ride the bike the same again. Or was it Merrick changing my riding position to a more scrunched one, that makes the bike feel really unstable going downhill.

it's too cold to be riding at 8am right now. When it's warmer I'll try to head out that way. What's the route usually like? Hilly? Fast?
