S2K4ME
I ran across this other forum and the members seem kinda hostile towards s2ki.... I've seen posts like s2ki.sux and other hatred pushed trying to get others to leave s2ki and join s2k4me.... Anyone know what the beefs all about? Looks like the majority of members is southern Cali.... Doesn't look like a popular forum lol

Oh lord here we go again
S2k4.me started because some of the SoCal members didn't like the CO of the SoCal section so they made their own "s2ki"
s2kca.com rejected my application. For what reason? No clue. This particular forum thinks that s2ki is too hostile when they ask simple questions. Well...you know...there's this thing called a search button. If they just use it more often, then they dont have to ask the same questions 50 million times thus others won't bash on them.
No experience on s2000.com

Before I owned my s2000, I researched various Honda and s2000 forums before registering as a member to see which was the most professional, well organized, technically-savy, most mature, member drama free, with a vast amount or community participation and resource, and found s2ki.com to stand out above and beyond other sites i've read especially in the NorCal Bay Area section, and members were very friendly and open, willing to share their knowledge. At first on s2ki I heard some s2ki members were not willing to share their info on their wheel setup because they wanted us as new owners to go thru their experience, time spent and amount of money guessing which was the correct setup. But some people do share it and even I always got pm's regarding my non-staggered setup and wheel offset and was always willing to share my specs. I think the energy in s2ki is always about 90% positive except a few incidence but always tend to get resolved the majority of the time. My experience in s2ki is based on how much effort we make of it as a forum. All the past, current Co's, admins, members, sponsors etc... contributed to it and it serves us as a tool, and now all we can do is make good use of it by posting organized events, share technical information, share each others ideas, experienced, and sometimes post non-relevant s2k related threads. which can be fun at times. Overall, s2ki made my s2000 ownership much more fun, saved me a lot of money and time as well as meeting a lot of cool new people. I think the info you heard about the hostility on s2ki is simply as scare because other sites or a group of people just envy this awesome forum. I wouldn't worry, simply brush it off.

I think its funny because there are people on our local forum who hate on s2ki (...and then list their reasons for not buying a membership on s2ki to not support the site).
I'll bet all these haters are still on s2ki because they know it's the best. Its probably impossible for another site to take off given the success of s2ki.
