I'm truly at a loss for words.

I feel as if I have failed in life, I've left a man in battle who I've never
met before and he's accusing me and my friends of being like an "ivy
league group without the secret handshake" Hmmmm?

Our so called "ivy league group without the secret handshake" hasn't
grown to this size with luck. We are all truly nice people. You can't
possibly expect to show up your first time and feel like you feel in your
Duc club, group or "ivy league group without the secret handshake".

The job you must take on is going to be tough, it might even bring you
one step closer to manhood but I can assure you this, it's well worth it.

Ok, seriously though, you need to put a little more effort in this
relationship if you want it to last.

"cool enough atmosphere" guess we aint cool?

Enjoy life to the fullest, drive an S and be Superior

man I miss being in the bay area... I use to be out there every weekend at the 240 meets back in 00-03... I kind of like Florida meets better... they tend to be more mix than in the Bay Area meets. Asian's out number everyone hehe... But being the only hispanic 99% of the time doesn't really matter who you are.

I'd hate to admit it, but I have to agree. I met a group of S2KI people at the Dragon back in 04 and they were a bunch of ass holes. I was thinking to myself, "They act like this is a Ferrari meet or something". Everyone was so stuck on them selves and their cars. They didn't speak to anyone else, other groups included. I just started talking to bikers, which are always much more friendly.

But I am not suprised. The way that people give smart remarks on here shows their true nature. I'd just say find a bunch on guys that you're cool with and hang with them. Just use S2KI for questions and information.

honestly, you don't expect to all of a sudden click and be best friends with everyone the moment you meet them. you need to take the initiative and make an effort to get yourself out there and to introduce yourself to people and make some new friends. now i've never been out to the milpitas meets (although i would like to one of these days when im not too lazy, lol), but i know a few of the people that DO go. just post some more on the boards and make some friends here and there. be up front and direct and don't expect everyone to come to you and introduce themselves. the bay area s2ki crew is a friendly and fun group. i consider myself a n00b still in the community, but i have met quite a few of the members and have made some cool friends with similar interests. you can just take the shortcut... get to meet Rich and Joey. Knowing them will grant you direct access to the rest of the bay area S2Ki community, they are really cool guys, who are both friendly and helpful. hope that your first encounter with the bay area crew won't be an everlasting impression.

bay area s2ki ftmfw!
