S2k siting gone bad!
thought I'd never see the day, but never say never! Today as I was leaving to school after picking up my friend, I was driving on 101N on to the 92 ramp. There it was a red S2k, I thought cool another fellow owner. I thought to at him/her before I go on the ramp. Right when I came up beside him, Guess what he does? Yup you guessed it, he moved into my lane without looking , and nope he didn't realize I was there and move back. He kept on going into my lane as if I wasn't there, I had to literally drive on the side of the freeway speed up to avoid him. Such disapointment, I wasn't mad as I'm use to this kind of stupid driving from people, but from a S2k driver? come on now what's the world coming to!!

I noticed there is a pretty large blind spot on the s2k, especially with the top up. It's a hard car to look around in. I don't know about you guys, but I have convex mirrors installed on my side mirrors. It's impossible to see well enough to change lanes w/ out them safely. I'm not defending the person but, you have to admit, it's pretty hard to see.

Blind spot of no blind spot, it is the driver's responsibility to drive the vehichle safely. if he cannot see clearly, he needs to turn his/her head to at least try and look before making a lane change, and even then should do so cautiously. Its no worse than driving a box truck or cargo van. People just need to learn to pay attention.

The blind spot can be entirely alleviated by just leaning forward when you look! Some people are too lazy for this maneuver, or are too busy talking on their cell phones. I never had any problems with this blind spot.

Leaning forward you're sure to spill your coffee, lose the grip your knees have on the steering wheel or drop the newspaper. ;-) There's no blind spot if you just drive faster right ? :-0
