You could still buy an S2000 with an F20C motor outside the US after 2004.

I dont think the BRZ and s2000 are comparable. My dad's getting a Toyota/Subaru Ae86 whatever in the near future to replace his 2007 civic si. If he lets me, I'll bring it to the meet someday. Whenever its easily avaible and able to get a test drive, he'll get one. Not letting go of the Si tho.

Saw 2 go up 9 last week - the FRS; they look a bit rounded & bulky but still nice.

I've seen a handful around the Peninsula now, I'd pick one over say a Civic SI Coupe but not an S2000.

A decade later, it's still faster than the best Subi/Toyota can make. Ha I had to laugh!
A decade later Subaru still has the STi. Toyota has the LFA. The two have the BRZ/FRS... Honda has, the CR-Z? Indy inspired Accord Crosstour?

The FRS/BRZ is still 5-10k cheaper than the S was. So it's missing 40hp...

Cool little car. Never understood what the necessity for the pissing war was with these things.
I'm just having fun dude

This appears to be shot in France where the ap2 still had the 9k redline.

The Ap2 with f22c engine with lower redline was only for North American market, the rest of the world had the f20c 9000 rpm engine till the very last sold S2000.
15.0 sec looks is a poor 1/4 mile pass anyways for the S2k
