I paid $26.5k for mine
taxes approx $3k

registration fee= $69
license fee= $155 (May be an income tax deduction)
weight fee= $0
special plate fee= $0
county/district fees= $10
owner responsibility fee= $0
smog abatement fee= $20

total f'ing rip off= $254

Agreed.

We're paying $200 here in Nevada now. I think next year it goes to $180 and keep dropping with the value of the car.

Casey - I think your registration may be lower because it's a salvage title. The total registration charge for my '04 was ~ $190. Not sure what the breakdown is off the top of my head.

dont for get you can deduct these registration fees if you itemized deduct your taxes.
