Lateott,
I am not the source of all knowledge on this subject, but just my observance from walking around says that if you want a secure place to put your stuff, you need to bring a trailer, trunk, or other storage to put them in. The area is huge, mostly open, and since anybody can walk around and pick up anything they want, well, you get the picture. Would you like to rent my German Sheperd? She's a very good watch dog.

We will probably use the temporary paddock on the outside of turn 7 at the north end of the track. To get there you have to drive around the ring road starting from the Russell office past turns 2, 3/3a and 4. Storing stuff there, tires, tools, etc should not be a problem, especially with a small group on a weekday. I plan on doing so.

Thanks, yu888. I thought that was what you meant, just needed your clarification.

I'll bring my seasick pills for the skidcar exercise.

yeah, I'd like to get out of the skid car exercise too, but...maybe they will calibrate the car differently for some higher speeds...say 10mph?

I agree it is easy to turn your nose up at the skid-car, I do so myself, since traction doesn't match reality, but but but I'd be willing to bet that there is a chance that the fastest guy or gal around in the skid-car will blow everybody else away on the track.

Not to mention that the ability to recover from a spin can be VERY valuable, particularly when driving in snow/rain.
