$33K but that was with $4k markup so you can probably get these for around $29-$30K.

i guess i'm going to be the only person and say that i think it looks really nice. i think it's either you love it or hate it type of thing. but i bet aftermarket is going to make that think look really nice.

that black and tan one looks really ugly tho. i saw a black and red interior the other day and that looked 10 times better than that one.

I actually don't mind the way it looks... I definitely see some similarities in styling.. in the front and the back at least. It's too bad that Mazda's reputation isn't that great at durability. I guess the other point was that the RX-7's always took a hit when it came to interiors feeling plasticky. I would have thought they could save some weight on that, but the additional 2 rear seats eat that up and make it weigh the same as our cars?

IMO, the car look like the big brother of S2k. From the back, it's nearly identical, and the rear seats are there to take up space and weigh. I don't see any adult can fit into the back.

I liked the first picture the most, Ed. The RX8 does look a little similar to the S.

IMO the back half of the car looks ugly (sort of bubbly and short), but the front looks pretty damn nice, especially the straight-on view.
