Uhh...I don't think so!

Actually, strangely enough, I feel no need for speed after the whole day of pushing limits. I have an even greater level of appreciation for my S2000 and what it can be made to do. No, I think you guys can stay out front while I hang back and enjoy the scenery.

Awesome, awesome experience. I got it as a gift as well, and I realize how lucky I am! If you have time, take the S2000 onto Mt Veeder Rd from the Napa side over Mt veeder into Sonoma onto Trinity. That road is a kick. We did it after an early dinner so there was no one on the road...of course it was Sunday night too. I am sure the two of you will both have fun!...and as Gilcwong said, bring suncreen!

What type of load do you guys [and gals] think this puts on the cars? Tire Wear? Brakes?

Well D, I think we definitely took a thousand miles off the life of the tires (not unexpected considering how sticky and soft they are), and with all the brake dust around, I am sure we burned thru some brake pads too. All in all though, I dont think there was any other undue wear. the car was built to handle alot, and we were given the opportunity to feel and take it as close as we could handle. believe me, my limit comes waaaayyyy before this car's does.

running with another S2000 was alot of fun. We actually caught up to the next pair of cars who promptly pulled off at the staging area and let us pass.
