RSX color difference?

RSX color difference?
my gf and i are arguing over whether or not the 04 (1st gen) RSX in Desert Silver, is equivalent to the 05+ (2nd gen) RSX in Magnesium Metallic.
A $50 bet is on the line, so any help will do.

i don't see why acura would have two different names for the same color paint. it's just cause for confusion.

just kidding. i bet you got worried for a sec. colors are different my friend has his sisters 05 painted with the 03 color. parked next to the new one it was completley different
