I also can't stand low quality streams, that's why I recommend the PS3 for Netflix. There are Rokus with 1080p capability but Netflix has not enabled 1080 or 5.1 streaming to anything but the PS3 so you are stuck with 720 streams on the Roku and there is a big quality difference between the two. When the PS3 ramps up into 1080 mode its like taking gauze off your eyes.

Just tonight my friend/roommate bought a Roku 2 and he's installing it as we're discussing this topic. I will let u know how he likes it.
