Every car that has coil springs has an upper and lower spring perch.
The knocking noise while sitting stationary and turning the wheel is a bad strut bearing. Knocking while driving is either a bad pillow ball top hat or a loose nut on the shock shaft or a bad damper.

OHHHHH ahahah i get it
picky picky lol. oh if hes on buddy clubs i had some clunking because of the springs. check the top nut and the perches and then also the endlinks. if thats all tight then lube up the top of the springs...
