ROBBED / SCAMMED on CL by shady guy

Wow. That's crazy. I read in the newspaper that someone in the eastbay was interested in buying a fixed up car. Something along the lines of a civic. He went with his friends and brought cash to buy the car. The seller was there but had 3 guys hide and rob the buyer at gunpoint for his cash. The buyer wasn't shot but was pistol whipped. It says they never caught the guys.

wtf... scam bs.. next time try to schedule the meets at the friday night meets.... i hope you catch this guy, but like one of the guys said it's more likely that it was a prepaid cell phone.. unless this guy was a complete moron and it wasn't.. report to the cops and see if they can trace his number.. what was the value of the deck? wasn't it the pricey piece you showed us last when we were all at your house?

I buy alot of things on craiglist so this is kind of scary. The other day i called up some dude cuz i wanted to buy a ps3 from him. First thing he does is ask if im trying to rob him. Im like wtf u talkin bout and hes said someone tried to rob him and proceeds to talk hella shiet to me.
Anyways, just b smart when dealing on craigslist. Theres always a risk but now more than ever. Try and deal at a residential area so at least u kno where the person lives or if its at ur house they probably wouldnt try nothin too crazy. Also try and deal during the day time.
