mmm just don't keep it in a spot longer than 2 days without anyone looking out for it or just drive it each chance you get. there are some dickholes out there who egg/teepee/whip cream cars and houses.

If you're driving the 1 down to Santa Cruz, I'd recommend you take it a bit further till Big Sur too..the scenery and the windy road are both amazing. Great picture opportunities!
Also, if you want some nice roads to drive the Santa Cruz mountains have some great ones...HWY 9, 35, and 84 are all great..hell even the 17 is great when it's not super crowded. But of course, be safe..these are all roads with a decent amount of traffic on them, are quite windy, and can be quite wet any time of year! Still a decent amount of fun to be had with great scenery, check it out!
