Default REVIEW: Eye of Mine Vinyl Overlay for GoPro HD Hero cameras

Hi Everyone...

I bought myself a present last week and installed it this weekend. The process was pretty simple. They provide a template with installation instructions. I didn't do the cleanest job of installing, but that's typical for me. The yellow overlay is a good match to the rio pearl yellow paint. It looks better from far away, but still looks good close up. It definitely turns more heads than the standard Go-Pro.

- Cost was about $30.
- My rating of this product is a 7/10. I would have liked to see more coverage, although it probably covers a solid 90% of the overall case. I thought the pictures on their website were a bit misleading. Clearly they used low resolution pictures to hide the fact that the vinyl doesn't fit perfectly, bubbles, and has creases. I'm still happy with the product because it makes my GoPro unique.

The choices are available here, in regular and premium cuts:

Maybe you can find replacement cases & just paint? Ive had good success with vinyls on PSPs, Nintendo DS & laptops but just as you can see, when dealing with corners & folds unless the vinyl is perfectly designed & cut, overlapping can look a bit odd.
