FYI for you guys with coilovers, i heard some guys complain that this track had bumpy braking zones. They were fine with me, but i roll stock.

I spent a couple days at Reno-Fernley last summer with Hooked On Driving. It's an interesting track, with lots of turns that flow sort of randomly together (kinda like the opposite of Sears Point). One turn (7?) is like a backwards Laguna Seca Corkscrew. The finishing straight is long, straight and fast, leading into the fast turn #1 esses with an unsettling dip right at turn-in (all taken in a sphincter-tightening 5th gear). It's an abrasive track, rough on tires. At something around 4,000', it's dry and dusty and can get hot and windy. There's really no facilities to speak of, and it's out in the middle of the puckerbrush about 30m east of Reno.
