Default Red S2K challenged Neon in traffic

Around 3:10pm today I'm on 280NB but still east of SJ.

This red S2K, illegal tint, decides to cut in front of another car and slow down, in traffic mind you, to challenge a Neon. Well the Neon accepts but both dumbasses are in traffic and the S2K didn't even realize the Neon had nowhere to go with traffic in front of him.

So the S2K takes off, very loud, but a very slow pull. It was lame. If my GF was with me she would have been laughing too. Needless to say the Neon gave up early.

And sure enough, a little later the S2K is in the far left lane going about 70mph which is why I caught up. Someone gave the S2k a thumbs down, hilarious, and it made it buzz some more.

Anyone on here? If so, you don't represent very well.

If the road was perfectly clear from any traffic then I would challenge. But I wouldn't be arrogant and initiate a race. First thing I worry about is safety, then fairness(from a stop). Both need to take place n I'll go ahead. I normally give thumbs up regardless whoever wins. It's suppose to be fun, safe, and non-competitive. Best, is if u acknowledge respect to each other and others on the road. As for the red s2k, I have no comment. Just don't give s2000 owners a bad rep. I just had a customer with a modded mustang say to me: "Why do some s2000 owners drive like douchebags and with arrogance, well except you?" I said I dunno...probably some kid that's excited about his new S. *shrugs* See...I don't want to get the same image and name calling as BMW owners...lol

Regression to the mean.
Whoever that was will slowly gravitate towards normalcy.
At least, that's the hope.

I'm in agreement with you. All brands have douchebag drivers. It was ridiculous, one of the worse I've seen without weaving.

Might be the same s2k I saw last week. Invidia n1 dual, stock height ap2 with dark tint on 280/680n (Iposted it in the Norcal sightings thread).
