i go there about once every month and half and have always been greeted by friendly people who are fairly attentive. there have been times when it's been slow but i can understand since it's pretty busy all the time. sucks to hear about your experience tho

rick: yes i did leave without paying. he pretty much gave us the signal to leave since he kinda just walked away from me when i was trying to explain that i will pay for half to show some decency.
bo: i've tried fremont, morgan hill, san jose, and santa clara. santa clara is now down to the least favorite. it was my first restaurant where i tried red robin as well so it is a huge disappointment.
mikeylude: i don't have a go kart mask...sorry LOL
arrrmand: yes i do know that they are slow at times, but when you watch your food get cold AND they try to give you bs saying it just got off the grill, that is just horrible.
to be honest, i'd totally blame the waitor for being such a slacker. the whole manager incident could've been avoided if that douche just man'd up and took the blame for letting our food sit there while they have a stupid meeting

well i have friends who work/used to work there so i can pretty much find out who they are, even if they didn't give their name.
i complained about my burrito at chipotle being way too over seasoned and they actually did an investigation and apologized / sent me a coupon for a burrito lol.

I live in 550Moreland, so that RR is basically on my doorstep. However, never eaten there, and in general find every restaurant @ Rivermark to be average at best. What distinguishes RR from say Chilis, TGIF, or similar chain; none of which I'd exactly expect 5-star service from.

red robin is known for their 'gourmet burgers.' IMO, yan can is pretty good as well for it being right across the st. they have secret phrases every week/month that you can tell them and they'll give you 50% off. how do i know? i used to work at coldstone right next to tmobile T_T fail. AND NO I WILL NOT SING FOR ANYONE!
