BTW, CalTrans is doing a bunch of work at the top of Big Basin, so you all may want to avoid it or simply expect some long delays.

 

Caltrans work that early in the AM? I hope they aren't doing it tomorrow as I hope to go for a drive then. Thx for the tip though.

 

It was me, I posted last week for a short 1 hr drive on Sat. I went driving with my friend's Lotus Elan.

 

Y'know...I thought I was off on the MR2 call (my bad...I really like those Elans). You guys were the first I came across in miles, and then it was like...

"Oooh, what's tha ... hey, there's an S2000!"

 

I wish we would have tackled the roads together. Was that you I saw on the 84 on my way back? I really like the Lotus Elan myself, considering the age of the car, they really perform well and it doesn't hurt that my buddy is also a very aggressive driver.

 

That wasn't me on 84. I hit 280 & then headed south from there.

Your buddy may be fast, but you were right on his tail if I remember correctly!
