my car passes the emissions portion of the test but i'm failing because of a CEL. does anyone know how i can get around this for now?

i already took the car in to try to get the CEL fixed and paid ~$500 and then it just came back up again. need a quick solution now.

hey guys, I met Tom's (VDMphoto) brother last nigth in Hayward for a SMOG

Anyone who needs a smog should see him, very professional with a large garage and top rated equipment! I hate some of those cheap places with a tiny garage that risks denting your door, etc.

He even has a cool tool to pick up RPM speed without plugging into the obdII port.

thanks again Tom!

i'll have to go check again. does anyone know a work around? mice chewed up alot of my electrical stuff so i dont know the extent of the damage. seems like the code may be faulty because of the damage.
