Does anyone have any recommendations for really good shops in the South Bay (near San Jose preferably but I'm willing to drive if the shop is worth it) that takes a lot of care and pride in their work with S2000s? I just bought another S2000 after not having one for 7 years and want to change out all the fluids to start over for peace of mind.

and saw how much attention to detail he gives to even the smallest of things and want to find a shop like that.

When I had my last S2000, some shops wouldn't even know how to get into reverse and would shift into 6th (CRINGE). Really trying to avoid stuff like that with this car

I went to Sakebomb for my last alignment and have purchased many parts from them. Great guys and very knowledgeable. I typically do my own work but wouldn't hesitate to trust them with more extensive jobs.

 

Can also vouch for Mario and for Sakebomb. Mario did all of the work on my car that I was too inexperienced to do, and also got aligned at Sakebomb. Both are good shops that have experience with the S2000, with mario being very involved in the S2000 community.

Elite Performance in Burlingame, a bit of a drive from South Bay, but they are top notch with great price!

 

+1 for Elite Performance. They are familiar with S2000s, and some of the staff members tracks their S2000s. They did a great job with alignment, radiator, valve adjustment, and some others.
