Your car is impounded for a minimum of 30 days, as it is "involved in an active investigation".
And you automatically lose your license, so it would be a while before you'd need to worry about insurance rates.

I don't get it? If they just stop everyone driving down a street. and then pass out spectators tickets, how does that hold up in court?

I watched the entire video....a racer did acknowledge on the video footage that he did "race." I think it was a sting operation and the police probably saw them racing.

a while back when they were racing in oakland by the ports..2 cars racing..one of the guy lost and wanted to race the same guy again..he didnt want to race and got shot in the foot. how retarded!! thats when the runs died out at the ports..but now i guess its back......or not.
