Default Rattle under under my S2k, any ideas?

There is a persistant rattle that has been bugging me coming from the underside. There are small rattles when gas is applied much like the sound of a card in the spokes of a bicycle. When idle at a stop the rattle sounds more violent as if a bolt is being tossed around in a pipe which I know is not the case. I have stock cat and exhaust. Every so often there is no rattle but its a smaller amount of the time. Any ideas? Im willing to drive to have someone take a look at it. Rather not have to take it to a shop if its something minor.

Check to see if the o2 sensor possibly came loose in either the cat or the header. This was exactly what my rattle came from. I am in the east bay area if you want to make the drive out here sat or sunday. I am willing to help you out.

I think I might have had the same problem.. When I would give it some gas it would go away a little but when I was at a stop it would get louder... I replaced my timing chain tensioner and it disappeared...

It's from the back underside of the car. I replaced my timing chain not too long ago since that had been a previous issue.

Check the spare tire mounting screw, that may have come loose.
