Rain troubles
#31
Today I have decided to get new tires. It's not just from the rain, its the fact that the tires are clearly in need of replacing. I narrowed my choice between the Dunlop Direzzas dz101s and the Star Specs. The Star Specs I'm leaning on heavily, since it seems to have great reviews here on S2KI. Those bald RE050's gotta go!

Rick just like you, I think rainy day threads are lame.

We were all young once and I'm pretty sure we all weren't born with a racing background or racing in our DNA.

LOL! I think this is true!
For the record, I do fear the rain in how dirty it gets my nice and clear car! haha
But you're right - no matter what you always have an idiot driver with bald tires or an overloaded old school Corolla with 6 people and the rear tires sagging next to you so still need to be cautious! (why do overweight big people always drive TINY cars is beyond me...haha)

I must have 'rain' DNA. See back in the day, before the internet, cell phones, modern safety features, heck even before fuel injection, my father use to commute to and from work is some very bad weather. Interestingly, my Mother also commuted in such dangerous conditions. So the combination of two very strong sets of rain proof DNA has made me super human - when in comes to driving in the rain.
Sometimes we learn things from our parents about driving that seems to turn into a sixth sense.
