Default Which rails would work with Recaro Pole Position?

I am considering getting the Recaro Pole Position but can't decide which rails I should get. I am debating over Buddy Club and Nagisa rails. A lot people on this forum used Buddy Club, but I found this old thread that has a picture of these 2 rails side by side, the Nagisa sits significantly lower.

Seat Thread (The picture is about 3/4 way down the thread)

I heard that BC rails spot welds will break...but I am willing to have the spot weld redo if it has the lowest sitting position. Anyone have used Nagisa rails, will they work with Recaro PP?

For ppl that have Recaro PP, what seat rail are you using?

Thanks in advance!!

I use the Buddy Club rails. My PP sits as low as possible without touching the ground, so I don't think going with the Nagisa rail will gain you anything.

@Voodoo: Did you redo the welds on the BC rails? Is the install pretty straight forward? Did you have to fabricate special fitting or just a bolt-on deal?

Thanks!

No, I just bought another rail. Install is straight foward.

I agree with Vu, I also have PP and Buddy Club rails - the seats sit on the carpet and my wife complains she can't even see the road anymore

I don't think those other rails will net you anything and these look pretty quality to me....

Thanks for reply, i think i will go with Recaro PP with BC rail as well

Did the BC rail comes with seat bolts? If not, what size of bolts would i need for the install? (I researched it requires M-8 bolts, but how long?)

Thanks!

The bc rails should come with everything needed. You will need the 4 side mount bolts. But those would come with the seats anyways.

Bump with a blast from the past.

Can someone help me...

I'm trying to mount Recaro Pole Position drivers seat to the Buddy Club Rails.

The seller recommended getting:

- Four Bolts which are M8 x 1.25 x 16mm

- Crush washers and washers that will be for each new bolt size is 1/4 and 5/16 four each

- Four washers for the mount to attach to the car

Is this information correct?

LOL, who knows for sure? Mikey (nos4you) has recommended these bolts, but I just want to make sure, extra sure.
