Default Racial Profiling /Alive and well in Monterey

So we are cruizing as a group of S2Ki's thru the residential neighborhood of Monterey before we entered 17mile drive, and suddenly like a bat out of hell a cop shows up flashing his lights. I'm second car from the last (row of 29), the cop pulls over the guy in the last car,.. tells him something then passes him up to get behind me, I pull over,.. takes a look at me,.. and kept going. He then pulls the guys over in front of me,.. and in front of them. I guess he was telling everyone that our group was reported speeding.<yea right>

Anyway,.. every car he pulled over was being driven by and Asian driver. I my self am only 1/4 asain so look white to most people.

I just think its crap,...why didn't I get pulled over!!!

I can understand if it was midnight but Sunday at noon,.. to be such a dik. Kinda sad,.. but what can we expect from the pearly white towers of Monterey/Carmel.

Some day we will all be so inbred there won't be any race

My .02 had to vent. (I feel for you my Asian brotha's)

Don

Yeah, speeding...thats the ticket.

And cops wonder why they have a bad rep.

i mean im latin besides martin heheheh and was at the front with vu.. i heard of it at the end of the drive. yeah that was complete bs....the pack really understood good conduct in residential area. imean we had no revving or fast pacing. we were a model car club of 30 cars 30K price tag cars straight snail pacing our way through the scenic route....yeah definatley foock chp of monterey. I brought a qualtiy large car club down spent money at your restaurants put money in your garages , money at he 17 mile toll... what the foovk. well chp and police were around us all day i guess they never seen a large organized group...but bikers are out every weekend in much larger numbers...go figure. but thankfully no body got a ticket,

I am sad to hear this. I grew up in PG and never seems to amaze me all the stupid cops in town. Around the area (PG/PB/Carmel) people are closed minded and generalize young asians drivers as nothing else than a bunch of kids from seaside or salinas. I think the treatment for african americans, is much worst.

my townie .2cent
