Am I the only one that would think this was a cool idea?

You and your passenger both have headsets that allow you to talk to each other while providing noise reduction from the road.

Is there such a thing?

Yes, I just recently saw the Maclern F1 has it for the driver/passengers.

 

Not sure about noise reduction, I've used a student/teacher in-helmet mic system at Laguna Seca before. It worked REALLY well -- and I could still hear the car as well.

I've seen the video of the McLaren F1 with that system there -- but that was for a McLaren F1 GTR -- not the regular road version. None of our cars are nearly as loud as that.

Any of the chatterbox systems will work for wireless comm systems, and there are even cheaper wired ones. Cheaper ones can be had for roughly $50.

I have no desire to hear my passenger scream for dear life into my ear.

 

Get an intercom system, not too expensive. Don't try cellphone, it won't work, I tried that already.

 

Do I scream like a little girl ?
