CAUTION! Besides being hard on the drivetrain when done right, if done wrong, you'll cook your clutch.

Have you ever looked in the rear view mirror and noticed that those second gear chirps equate to a dual five foot long patch of rubber on the road? I have.

As Xviper says, it's very easy to do, even in third.

It's hard to get a Chirp out of these tires, two reasons, the tires stick like glue and don't want to give (good) and two becasue they are so soft they don't really make any noise when it happens. I'll bet you have been doing it and just don't get any sound from it. Put on some cheaper, harder compound tires and I'll bet you can do it all the time.

why do you want to chirp your tires after shifting so bad anyway? if you had REAL power your tires would be squealing....

Good point! I mean why does one want to make noise, burn life off the tires as well as other part of the car...oh wait, I forgot, because it makes the driver happy! Some ar willing to pay a higher price in replacmenet parts than others to derive pleasure for their cars.

No, while I think it may be easier with MORE power, the S does have "real" power. There is a difference.
Would be easier with more power in the low end...or cheaper tires, or a foot that keeps slipping off the clutch at the right time, but the right technique will get any car squealiing.
