Question about used car..
Hi all, need some help here. Looking at purchasing my first S It's an '01 with 52k miles... when I asked the seller when he had changed all the fluids and such he said he had never replaced the rear differential fluid. Is this something I should be scared of? Also, any other major information I need to go over with the seller before I purchase? He said he had the clutch replaced concerning the clutch buzz problem.
Any help appreciated!

Buy my '02 with 100k miles instead. Twice the mileage but I've changed the diff and other fluids religiously. And I'm not even religious.
Ok in all seriousness 52k miles without changing the diff fluid would probably make me minorly uncomfortable, but if the price is low enough then I'd personally probably be inclined to roll the dice on it (in fact I did recently roll the dice on an used Subaru that never had its diff fluid changed at 37k miles so my money is indeed somewhat where my mouth is).

take it to a shop, drain the fluid.. check for chunks or shavings. You're propbably fine depending on the type of driving that was done on the car. Let the shop read the fluid if you're not comfortable.
I bought mine with 51.5K on original fluids (tranny/rear). I had checked her to make sure before buying it, and it was fine.
Also remember, it's not a clutch limited slip in the rear.. it's a torsen (I believe type I, or helical gears) rear end in the s2000.
