Forgot to mention that this was for my sportwagen jetta. I am on this forum because I have noticed that you guys are the most helpful out of a lot of other forums out there. VWvortex is trash.

hellasleepy- if your guy can do it on a jetta let me know, im willing to travel for a good job and a fair price.

playground- if you know how on a VW let me whats up, maybe ill take up the offer.

speedelement would do for 225. its a highly recomended shop for evos but do s2k stuff as well

You should take it VEX MOTORSPORTS in San Jose. They did my coil over install with alignment for $250. I highly recommend them.

Blue LS- that sounds really fair, I will definitely keep VEX on the top of my list.

You will find that people on this board have varied opinions about Vex.

The cheapest route would be to buy the few tools needed or borrow them from kragen or somewhere like that. You could spend 2 hrs and no money if you really wanted.

Edit: I guess you need to spend $80 for an alignment.

I'm for getting tools and renting spring compressor. Result - job done, save $ have set of tools left.

I won't pay more than two hundred for install. If smbd would quote me 6xx for that I would laugh and cry at the same time. Sorry but for that price it had to include two hot chicks to entertain me while waiting ))
