Here is another tip:

There is excess gasoline left in the hose after you have filled up. Tilt the hose upwards to get the rest of it. Make sure your tank is NOT FULL otherwise it will spill.
that's called the Chinese Lift and Drip, we all do it.

I can see the first one being true if the tanks were above ground but I think they're far enough below ground that the temperature of the tank might only change by a few degrees. A few degrees isn't going to give you anything.
Agreed. Also remember the tanks are double walled for spill containment reasons so unless you fill up in alaska you won't be getting much if any at all.

I believe the first tip. However I can't get pass knowing gas companies wouldn't let that happen. Is it possible by now most gas pumps account for the temperature and modify the digital counter to make sure this trick doesn't work? If not I'm filling up in the morning.

I filled up today on "slow" first click on the pump... and man.. did that take a while haha... I dunno, if it makes a difference, but while filling up, it caught my curiosity to why they would even implement 3 speeds. Any inputs? Because I know most people just haul ass on that lever to pump as quick as possible.

You know how the prices keep going up day after day, if the beat the clerk before they change the prices in the morning, that's another buck saved.
