Proposed Change to For Sale/Classifieds

I voted no. Just because I list all the things I've sold on my thread and I list all my things for sale in one thread. It'll become tedious if it is deleted after 30 days. Might use craigslist more if the change happens

Voted NO. By restricting public replies, this may actually generate less chances/potential of selling items. In addition, there are a lot of useful posts/info that linger around FS threads in regards to the items for sale. People can also post their experiences with the seller which is valuable feedback.
There is a good point with purging out older FS threads. I would say anything that has not had activity for 1 year to be purged - then again, these are also useful threads to track the history or more information on a part/seller. Compromises I guess...

I voted no. I don't see any trash talking with public replies in the Bay Area forums.
It's helpful when someone posts a link to a new part being sold for the same price as someone's used part. It's helpful when you aren't sure how high to price and item, and you can look at years worth of posts to see what the average price a part sells for to assist with pricing your item.
I do think more people should be locking threads as soon as their part sells. That makes a visual distinction from the active and inactive threads in the FS forum.
