Post your Concours d'Elegance weekend sightings here!
Went for a run down to Carmel today just to see who would be on the road, but I've been seeing good cars all week.
Some cars I saw just today:
-six Porsche Panameras on Carmel Valley Road, later identified as their press fleet (Car and Driver drove one of them and blogged about it)
-Porsche Carrera GT
-Porsche Spyder (the "James Dean" model)
-Ferrari 599
-Ferrari 550 Maranello
-Ferrari F430
-Ferrari Testarossa
-five or six more Ferraris in a line on 101 around Greenfield
-Lamborghini Miura
-Chevy Corvette ZR1
-three or four Bentleys
-recent Maserati of some sort
-classic Alfa
-several classic American cars that I'm too young to identify properly
-two S2000's
-more Mustangs, lesser 'Vettes, and Miatas than you could count.
I had a nice clean run over Carmel Valley Road, too.
It would have been fun to go into the actual Concours, but $100 to get in didn't sound so appealing. I guess they have to keep the riff-raff out somehow.

I saw a White Lamborghini Countach pulled over on I-5 last night!
I was at the Quail Motorsports Gathering in Carmel on Friday and then Pebble Beach Sat & Sun. So many cars I was drooling over. I'll post pics later.

I was a temporary employee for the event. I've been doing this for about 4 years now. During the set up week there wasn't a day where I didn't see a Scuderia, a Bugatti, a Spyker, etc. To my surprise, Hyundai had its own tent with Genesis Coupes on display. But it didn't top the IS-F's Lexus had for show. I was lucky enough to spot a Carrera GT and a few McLaren's around.
Jay Leno was the host of an auction for the classic cars. Our Governor was there too but I missed him by mere seconds.
