Thanks for all of the replies guys. I greatly appreciate it. I just might try out that tear-aid for a temporary fix, at least until I can buy a hardtop.
And to FromaDB2toanAP1, PM me the price. I may be interested.
Once again, thanks for the input.

hey bro, i was in very same situation just a couple months ago.
after talking with guys in so-cal that sells frp mugen ht, and guys who has the mugen ht. I went with OEM.
As you look around, nothing beats OEM hardware.
So how much did i pay for mine to be shipped from japan?
$2740 + 250(shipping) = $2990
now you can buy used mugen ht or oem ht for lets say 1800 ~ 2200?, now you add another $400 for paint unless you find matchibg color..
you do the math but you can clearly see with one more paycheck you will be trouble free.
I ordered mine from parts dot com, I was very skeptical when it comes to ordering stuff online but they are for real. it took 3 weeks for me to get mine.

I'd Say OEM or VIS because of their quality and fitment. I myself have a mugen style hardtop from chaser aero. but swapped out those aftermarket hardware with oem hardware.. ease of access and makes fitment a bit better.... I spent a total of $1100 for my hardtop with oem hardware, since i bought it used, it was already paint matched so that was a bonus, also previous owner threw in some stuff i couldnt refuse.. anyone wanna buy some project mu 2pcs rotors.. lol...
but i'd be willing to trade for a oem hardtop.. ill throw in cash also lol..
