Default Poll: Phở/Tonkotsu Ramen/Shoyu Ramen

We have been talking about having a meet/eat in the winter. Just trying to see what everyone's preference is. I just want to have some thing nice and warm and fairly cheap to make. I had a Phở-King meet a few years back and it was a lot of fun.

Tonkatsu ramen! I eat pho too much since I live so close to so many pho resturants. Had it for breakfast this morning.

i actually lol'd @ this thread don

pho was the fad a few years ago but i think ramen's picking up recently. to tell you the truth, tonkatsu ramen has won me over so much i've never had the need to try shoyu.

come on down to our area and we'll have a ramen day visiting my 2 local fav spots (ryowa in dwntn mtn view and ramen halu in saratoga)

I think Tonkotsu ramen is better because it has pork or use pig neck bone or whatever part of pig as soup stock. Shoyu just water with soy sauce...

Am I right, Don?
