You have to stand somewhere. Where do you think the safest place to be is?
from my personal experience i hate running calls on the freeway. you would think that you would see a big red fire engine with lights and sirens, but people don't slow down! i guess they have somewhere more important to go then us?

as for the safest place is get off the freeway.

i'm glad the cop got that on tape most of the time you don't get to see what happened to build up to the tazing.

dedicated to the old lady that got tased.

"be careful what you wish for coz you might just get it" (care of the PCD)

if the cop chose not to tase her and subdue her by using force, it might leave some bruises which can be used as evidence against him.

grandma deserved it.

she was indeed combative and uncooperative. also seemed to me like she was taking advantage of the fact that she was 72 years old.

gotta agree with the police though you gotta be held accountable for your actions no matter how old you are.

PWNED.

Quite honestly, I didn't like the cops attitude, or the grandmas attitude. The world will be a better place if they both got hit by a car.

I love how in the interview, she denied everything, not realizing they had video of the whole thing.

Wow. So many people are siding with the officer's actions. I find that very interesting. While I do agree it is amusing seeing this rude old lady getting exactly what she was asking for, I wonder if our opinion of the situation is skewed by the humor of the situation. Yes she was acting like a jerk and putting them both in danger with her child-like attitude but seriously shooting he with the tazer was the only way to subdue her? He's got handcuffs and a back seat doesn't he? Geeze! If she had a pre-existant heart condition and died due to the shock I believe this story along with many peoples opinions would be very different

Just my two cents.
