Point Reyes drive, anyone?
Hi folks,
How is it going? Did you guys have many fun events? Looks
like many things changed. Most notably, Debbie is now the Moderator.
Any other news?
Sorry about my disappearance. I joined some Stanford Student
Organizations (gotta take advantage of my benefit package...), so I
have to drop some other activities. Now school is over. I can start
organizing some drives for you guys.
One of the many places I recently visited was Point Reyes.
It seems to me the roads there are pretty good for a drive. Here is
a short plan I come up with:
9:30am meet at Marina Green parking lot
10:00am drive off
11:00am Bear Valley Visitor Center (north bay people can wait here)
11:30am Tour the Visitor Center and then walk the Earthquake Trail
12:00pm Tony's Seafood
1:00pm Lighthouse
1:30pm leave Lighthouse
2:00pm Oyster Farm
2:30pm dismiss
What do you guys think? Do you think we should try visit more
places at Point Reyes? If so, what are they?

9:30am-10am is like social hour. You actually don't really need to show up it is close to 10am.
Last time, I organized the SF Group Cruise, it also started at about the same time. The turnout was actually pretty nice for the drive. (12 cars, was it?)
BTW, anyone got any date preference? I am shooting for 6/15, 6/22 or 6/29.

I am sure Mike and I would love to go, just post enough ahead of time so we can arrange for a sitter!
Just a little food for thought, it would be awesome if the Bay Area club could put together something like the SacS2KDays. There are so many cool places in our corner of California and I am sure they would all love to come to the coast in June!
I am a stay at home mom and would love to put something together, maybe for the end of summer. But I would need a lot of input from all of you. Please help me out with suggestions. We can either make a thread or you can pm me.
Thanks!
