Hi, Brand new to the site. I've seen at least 5 S2000's in Pleasanton in addition to mine. Just curious if there's a lot of people who have them here. Obviously. I would be interested in the racing and a meet/S2K days event. Is there a group meeting coming up soon?

Hey, Nomad, welcome. I think at least one of your Pleasanton ones is me, but I'm really in Hayward, though I do get over there a bit. IAC, the biggest chunk of them seems to be over on the Peninsula (at least if this board is any indication), but there are some of us over in the east bay. In fact, saw another Silver/Black on 580 this morning that I hadn't seen before (don't usually do 580 during the commute).

Scott R nelson has an s2000, rides motorcycles, lives in Pleasanton, and just left in his s2000 for a Looong trip

That sounds fun. We should organize a little tri-valley get together. When would some of us be available? By my rough estimate that's four in a 15 mile radius. I would be up for a Sat. or Sun. lunch get together to talk about our S2k's and hang out.

Let's try to start suggesting some dates for a lunch to see what works for everyone. This weekend is Mother's day so I'm booked. Two weekends from now works great for me (5/26 or 5/27).
I suggest we let anyone attend who wants to, even those outside of the Tri-Valley. But let's have the meet here. How about Wente's Sparkling Cellars? It's a great area to drive and plenty of parking.

That sounds great. I would attend but I'm newer to the area so will need some directions. How about Sunday the 27th at 1:00 or that general time? Post if interested. Open to all who want to attend and whoever shows up, shows up. Casual dress and S2K's encouraged :-)
