The Wii has absolutely no impact on the PS3. Different buyers. It does look like though the Xbox 360 sales have take a jump thanks to the PS3.
My feeling is that there was a very small group of people willing to pay $1500+ for them and they have already done so, leaving a lot of people that were looking to make a quick buck holding the bag. Half the PS3's I saw walk out the front door on launch day weren't accompanied by a game.

The Wii is the only one that interests me right now. The problem with 360 and PS3 is that is the same exact thing as last gen but looks better. I am not willing to pay $400+ to play the same thing I have been playing. I want something completely new and different. That's where the Wii comes in.
