I agree with you. I played all 3 systems a couple days ago. Honestly the PS3 is no better than the 360 right now. I was not impressed and its not worth $100 more than an Xbox360. Even the Xbox360 is still overpriced IMO. The Wii is like a PS2 on steroids. 
Seeing these people selling them for $2000-$5000 when I know for a FACT it will be $299-$399 and readily available in 2-8 months makes me laugh regardless if they can get that much for them now. Who really cares if you have the PS3 now. Its not any better today November 17th 2006. Another fact is it takes years to get the better games out and right now "Gears of War" is still tops regardless of tomorrows release of the PS3. Technology is still not where it should be in 2006.
I say wait 4 months and you can get it for $400.
BTW Voo dont waste your money on the system you wont be impressed, especially coming from a system that is on par or equal in graphics today.

Is ebgames not getting any more than the preordered ones? No one at ebgames right now and about 20 people at Walmart across from it. Surprisingly there are more people at In and Out.

How are you guys comparing PS3 with it's release titles atm? Of course release titles aren't going to show true potential of what the PS3 is all about. I mean NO GAME on the X360 looked good enough to be classified "new gen" until Gears of War which came out a year since X360 launch?
Like I said before the PS3 is barely getting its feet wet, it's in due time when third-party supporters utilize the PS3 to what it's hyped up to be. Then again, I must admit I'm one of Sony's strongest supporters ever.
When I look at PS3's launch titles vs X360 launch titles, IMO blows microsoft out of the water. Not only that, Resistance VS Gears of war, extremely close in graphics and gameplay. And this is only the tip of the iceberg for the PS3, being a launch title.. and X360 already had its one year head start... that's a scary thought already.
I'm definately impressed, and I can't wait to see what the PS3 is truly capable of in the next year (MGS4, Tekken 6, Final Fantasy XIII...). And the fact that PS3 games are region-less makes it even better, allowing the exclusive titles to be accessed worldwide.. (Namco X Capcom dilemma for PS2, only available in japan, and other japan/HK/korea specific titles etc)
